Will I be sore?

You may. It is much like doing a workout. You are getting new blood to those muscles and some lactic acid may be released as well. Drink 2-3 glasses water after each session and get plently of rest. If you feel the sessions was an overload, I can change techniques and amounts of pressure next session.

Before is better. Relax you just got a massage.

No. "No Pain No gain." Does not apply here. However some people need to "feel" various degrees of pressure in order to best relax.

Muscle knots, also called myofascial trigger points, are abnormal areas within the muscle, which cause pain.. We do not know everything about what they are. However, they think they are either a build up of abnormal protein or excessive connective tissue.

Anything that causes a "fight or flight" response in your body causes stress.. Major life changes, work, relationship difficulties, financial problems, being too busy, and children and family are just some of the things that cause stress.
